Sometimes a birth makes it perfectly clear that a decision was exactly the right one.
Calm and completely relaxed, Saabi waited on day 59 for what was to come. No panting, no trembling, no restlessness – she simply wanted to be close to me. And so we waited together until, finally, the first real contractions began.
After just half an hour, her first son was born, calm and easy. Just four minutes later, his brother followed. Another 20 minutes later, their first little sister arrived. Last but not least came our little heavyweight – the second girl.
From the very first moment, Saabi knew exactly what to do and once again showed me what a wonderful, instinctive mother she is. It could hardly have been more perfect.
